comment on 'Air'
A blur of transience, and not waiting, but spending time on each precious
moment, and being ever-watchful of the starts. There's a grandeur, and
a heaviness of the humid summer, the pours, and afternoon heat. Still,
it rains heavily every night, and there's the song that you hear at every
moment. 'Air', the new album by Naph and Chihei Hatakeyama, is all of this
time, and all this passing; a tide, the viewers of the everyday. They've
built a soundtrack to it. Instead of trying to describe it, it reminds
me how much this is simply the everyday, and that quiet, moving peacefulness.
A genuine, lifelike world by two ever-inspiring artists.
